How do I ship a Pallet?

How do I ship a pallet

Shipping large format items may be a good idea for your business if you are shipping high-value cargo or multiple pieces that need to remain together. Pallet shippers may also be a good idea if you want less risk of product damage, require specific storage requirements once the pallet reaches its destination, or if you want more ease when moving it.

Nordic Cold Chain Solutions offers a variety of pallet shippers that can be used for many applications. Our regular pallet shippers can be used from ambient to frozen temperatures and are ideal for shipments between 24 to 96 hours. These shippers can store temperature-sensitive products without spoilage, damage, or loss of efficacy.

We also have more robust insulated pallet shippers that are ideal for temperatures ranging from 2°C to 8°C. They are perfect for long-duration domestic and international travel and can transport pharmaceutical or biological shipments. These pallets have been tested to provide 110 hours of protection in the summer and 120 hours of protection in the winter.

For added protection, the pallet can be covered with an insulated pallet cover. These pallet covers are not designed to be the only part of the cold chain process, but they can give an extra layer of insulation to refrigerated or frozen products. These pallet covers are ideal for protecting products from moisture and heat extremes, and they are best used for shipments that will be over a three-day duration.

For large quantities of products or products that are best shipped together, pallets are the best way to transport them from one place to another. However, for products that require temperature-sensitive conditions, pallet shipping can be a little more complicated. With the use of a logistics expert, a cold chain process can be developed with your business in mind to ensure that your pallet shipments arrive at their destination in the best condition.
